Acuity Specialty Hospital located in Atlantic City, NJ, is currently seeking a Full Time Admissions Coordinator for their Provider Relations Department.

The Admissions Coordinator performs a variety of duties, both clinical and clerical in nature. Responsibilities include coordinating referrals and admissions, networking and maintaining relationships with physician practices and healthcare providers, gathering patient referral information, verifying coverage and making qualifying business and clinical decisions for admission and prior authorization. Apply excellent customer service attitude in order to liaison internally with the clinical team and externally with the medical community.  This position requires skill in planning, organizing and coordinating the delivery of patient care by all staff personnel as well as the coordination of day to day office activities.

RN, LPN, or RT experience, previous admissions experience or other clinical experience/education required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Organizational and planning skills to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and take initiative.  Work independently with little direct supervision.  Pay attention to detail and plan ahead by anticipating problems and forecasting outcomes.
