Atlantic City, New Jersey (May 29, 2019) – Acuity Specialty Hospital of New Jersey teamed up with the Southern New Jersey Heart Walk part of the American Heart Association and raised $2,440. The Acuity team joined over 3,000 walkers who turned out for the 22nd consecutive event.
“We are committed to working together to support the health and wellness of our community,” said Monica Titus, MBA, BSN, RN, Regional Chief Executive Officer of Acuity Specialty Hospital of New Jersey and Acuity Specialty Hospital of Southern New Jersey. “This is our 6th year participating. We understand and value the important role that the American Heart Association plays in the community. We support healthy living and want to raise awareness to the difference it can make in the quality of life.”
Acuity Specialty Hospital of New Jersey (AHNJ) is a 30-bed long-term acute care facility. AHNJ was the first hospital in New Jersey to receive ISO 9001:2008 certification as a provider of healthcare services including acute, medical, surgical, critical care, and dialysis. AHNJ operates within AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City campus, on the newly renovated fifth floor of the Wellness and Friendship Pavilion.
